Production of deerskin in traditional old chamois tanning
Our deerskins are produced in the last Weißgerberwalk in Germany using the traditional old chamois tanning process. For over 300 years, pure cod silt has been mechanically driven into the leather with water-powered, heavy wooden hammers and then dried. This process is repeated until the cod trans is sufficiently concentrated in the hide.
Now each hide is checked by hand and, if necessary, washed out again and dried again. The dried leathers must now be softened again, this is called "cleating". They are sanded and buffed to achieve the unmistakable suede effect.

No more unpleasant pressure and prickling – thanks to the back of the bag which is made of cowhide leather and adjusts to your body. By pulling the roll buckle, the bag opens widely. Additionally, they can be safely closed by a closure buckle which also adds to the design. The bag has a large main partition, several pockets and a snap hook for your key chain. There is also a zipper-closed compartment at the back.

The straps, made from olive leather, are 40 mm wide and 49 cm long over the shoulder and reinforced with wool felt.
